Not Happening

While I was Walking Down the Hall I happened Across This Conversation
"Daddy, when I grow up can I change my name to Tabitha?" Lexie asked in her most convincing voice.
"No."

"Why not?" She asked in a much more whiny tone.

"Because that's just not happening."

Lexie Did Something Cute Last Sunday

While We Were At Church On Sunday

On Sunday I felt like dieing instead of going to church.

I was in the back of church getting a sip of water to try and stop coughing. I was in the back for about two minutes when Lexie came back to check on me.

"Are you ok?" She asked her face colored with concern and her hands hiding something behind her back.

"Oh I'm fine, I'm just getting a sip of water." I said with a little smile on my face. I was flattered that she came to check on me.

"Well ok. But I made you this picture just in case you didn't feel good." She said handing me a picture.

And with that she skipped back into church.

Soul Winner

While Taking Break At STAR Testing

Lexie sat with the children in the grass. All the kids seemed shy and she decided to break the ice with what she thought was an easy question.

"So, how many of you go to church?"

Only one girl half raised her hand.

"Sinners." She shook her head sadly.

(I don't condone my sisters behavior, I just thought her reaction was funny)

Boys...

Hannah

While Doing Each Others Hair in the Bathroom

"Soooo... Do you two like any boys?" Ashley asked, wagging her eye brows suggestively.
"NO!" Hannah swiftly replied.
"No way! They are all idiots and wack-a-doodles!!!" Lexie exclaimed.
"Oh... That's good I guess." Ashley said.
"How is that good in any way?" Lexie demanded.
"Uh... This not the conversation I thought it would be."

The End

The Halloween Lament

Lexie
While talking about the evils of Halloween at the Silvey home, this conversation took place
"I wish I could dress up as a ballerina." Lexie lamented, looking downcast as she realized she never could.
"Lexie! Ballerinas don't exist! They are of the devil! How could you!" Daniel exclaimed with horror in his eyes that his very sister could wish such atrocity.
"Oh..." Lexie replied as if she had forgoten this fact. Ballerinas most certainly do not exist.
